室內運動學為一裝置作品。藝術家設置了許多自動投球的機械在展場中。一台機器會將球投入到另一個機器的網子中，如此周而復始，形成一個由球的運動軌跡構成的拋物線空間。整個空間是漆黑的，只有當球的位置達到拋物線的最高點時，所設置的LED燈會亮起。所以觀眾看到球的樣貌都是在空中的弧形。
這件作品討論了觀察、幻象、網路的傳遞模型、與感知的切片，而這種感知被切割成非常短的時間，形成一種視錯覺短暫停留在觀眾的腦中。 Interior kinematics is an installation artwork. The artist set up multiple automatic pitching machines in the exhibition space. One machine pitches the ball into the net of another machine, and so on, creating a space composed from the parabolic trajectory of the ball. The exhibition space is completely dark, when the balls reach the vertex of its parabolic curve, all the LED lights will turn on at once. Hence viewers always see the ball as an arc in the air. This work discusses observation, phantom, the model of network delivery, and a fragment of perception. And this visual perception is reduced into very short durations, forming an optical illusion that stays in the audience’s mind for a brief moment of time. |
